Blue Hill Ranch Animal Adventures

My daughter and I came here mid-week for a couple of nights for my birthday. The Zebra cabin we stayed in was perfect for us and so beautifully appointed! The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was deluxe. However, all that paled by comparison when you went out on the back porch and saw giraffes that you could walk out to and feed! A $15 food bucket is a must as there are so many animals that are eager for treats that come right up to the fence! If you take the safari tour you get to feed even more animals, see the entire property and get great information from your knowledgeable tour guide. To delve even deeper into the animal experiences, feeding and care (and petting them), you must do the highly recommended "swim with otters" , "dine with giraffes", and bottle feed baby animals"! We loved it all! I couldn't recommend one over the other as they were all fabulous! We had a different guide for each activity and they were all so knowledgeable, enthusiastic about their jobs, friendly and fun! Lastly, I have to mention the food as it was fantastic too! The chef was fairly new but he did a great job at all aspects of the meal - talking to you about your wants, timing, meal prep, delivery to our table and follow up. Every person we came in contact with made us feel special and you can tell they care about Blue Hills Ranch, the animals and their guests!

I brought my daughter here mainly for the otters, but she's an animal lover, so we stayed 2 nights and got the bronze package and it's worth every penny!! The cabins are great, She loved the pirate theme! She can't stop talking about this experience. The giraffes, baby kangaroos, baby cows, zebras, baby deer, and am the adult animals, everything was so much fun!! The staff is amazing! Very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable! Food was great also! Very impressive!! All that and to top it off my daughter left something behind in the cabin, I asked them if they could drop it in the mail wherever was convenient, because if they did that, that would've been going above and beyond and it would be very appreciated, well the owner went way way above and beyond, and drove it to our house (over an hour)!!!! I'm so impressed and we will be back... probably yearly, maybe more!

We were there in May. We truly had the most wonderful experience of our lives. From the second we got there we were greeted and immediately were able to pet the horses, deer and even hold the baby kangaroo! The staff treated us like family, every meal was cooked by a chef and the food was always delicious.Our cabin was so beautiful, it was decorated with giraffes, they were everywhere ( my favorite animal). We had a nice deck outside where we could watch the deer, giraffes and kangaroos, and of course we always had buckets of pellets to go out and feed them. The main building was a beautiful huge barn, where we could hang out with the Joey, a 3 day old calf or their awesome dogs that were so friendly towards us and the baby animals. Everyday we would get to bottle feed all the baby animals 3 times a day, it was so much fun. We were able to feed all the animals in different areas of the ranch, giraffes, deer, cows, bison, donkeys, kangaroos, llamas and many more. We went on tours everyday, so we could see just how big and beautiful the ranch was, and to see different animals. I would definitely recommend taking your next vacation at Blue Hills ranch. Loved this ranch! All staff not only cater to the customers, but are extremely knowledgeable with the care and feeding of all animals on the ranch. We had a beautiful cabin on the outskirts of the ranch, where we were greeted by all kinds of free roaming animals! Thoroughly enjoyed walking around the ranch and feeding the animals. Swimming with the otters was so much fun! Our guide was very informative with how to feed them and how to care for them! Each otter has been named and she knew who was who! The giraffes are magnificent creatures! We got to spend a great deal of time with them during a feeding time! Highly recommend this ranch to all who would like to interact with animals, enjoy good food, and learn about nature!

Blue Hill Ranch is an unforgettable gem! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully planned to create a unique, hands-on experience. The giraffe encounter was absolutely magical getting to feed and interact with such a majestic animal up close was something we’ll never forget. The staff made sure everyone had time to enjoy the moment, take photos, and learn more about the giraffes’ personalities and care. It felt personal, safe, and truly special. We stayed in one of their gorgeous cabins, and it was beyond our expectations. The cabin was beautifully designed modern, clean, and cozy with a rustic touch. From the stylish decor to the comfortable beds and peaceful outdoor space, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day full of adventure. The entire experience from the exotic animals to the warm and knowledgeable team made this one of the most memorable getaways we’ve ever had. Blue Hill Ranch is perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for a unique and meaningful escape. We can’t wait to come back!
